Such a journey could not have been possible without the support of ALL of you. During this past year we have been continuously touched by the kindness and generosity of so many people. Team Alex raised $18,487.00. The 2010 Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure in Boston raised over 4 million dollars!! Because of people like you!! Thank you. The money that you helped us raise will go toward ending breast cancer and saving lives.
This 60-mile journey began in February of 2010. The challenge of raising $2300.00 each was intimidating, and required most of us to step outside of our comfort zones. We asked YOU for your help, and your response was amazing.

I could never have done this without your love and support, I love you so much, thank you.
And lastly to our survivor, Alex, for having this crazy idea to walk 60 miles… and for being so strong. You truly inspire us.
One cannot participate in a cancer walk without feeling hopeful for humanity. So many good people. So much desire to help others. So much willingness to endure discomfort, aches, and even pain, in order to bring attention to, and END, this terrible disease. It was an honor to be part of it. At first it was about supporting a family member I loved, but soon it became more. During the past 6 month, I met so many people who have shared with me their stories. So many stories… many inspirational, but many heartbreaking. It’s a huge commitment, but I feel drawn to be part of it again. In 2011 I’m walking in Seattle. Please visit my new 3-Day website at: www.the3day.org/goto/micheleiswalking. Feeling inspired? Join Team Alex and walk with us!!
